DEAD MAN, SUGAR WOLF & Z-GRADE PRESENT
SKINCREEPERS
A DANIEL HOLLIDAY PICTURE
When alien doppelgängers show up, an occult journalist and a conspiracy theorist must fight for their lives.
Released in 2018, SKINCREEPERS is a gothic thriller short film. Steeped in a craft-centric approach to genre that was cemented in the early-1980s in the pictures of John Carpenter and Dario Argento, SKINCREEPERS gave me the space to focus on delivering sequences of tight tension as a director, and getting hands on as the picture’s co-writer, editor, and composer. Above all, the picture mined the potential of the doppelgänger to express the violence of self-improvement.

DEAD MAN PRESENTS
CORNER AND THE CUTMAN
A DANIEL HOLLIDAY PICTURE
Set in a fictional, mid-1950s Australia, CORNER AND THE CUTMAN is a period murder mystery in the style of classic wartime film noir cinema. Following Charlie and Wes, two boxers vying for the attention of their coach, the movie was crafted non-linearly with the intention of hiding information from the audience. All the clues are there, but it's largely left up to the audience to do the solving.
CORNER AND THE CUTMAN had its World Premiere in Los Angeles as part of the HollyShorts Film Festival in 2015. The picture has also shown as part of Montreal World Film Festival (2015) and Kinofilm (2016) in Manchester, UK.
